If you would like to get involved in the Timesetters Ministry, please call Al or Colleen at the church office, 235-5814 or email Al at alk@hopechapel.com
Al and Colleen Kalama have been a part of Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay since November 1983 when Ralph Moore
moved the church from Kailua Beach Park to the Heeia State Park in Kaneohe. Al retired from the Honolulu Police Department in 1993 and worked in security at one of the Waikiki Hotels until December of 1994 when he resigned after being asked by Pastor Rob McWilliams to come on board as
a staff pastor serving in the Men's Ministry. Al first served on staff as the men's pastor from 1995 to 1997. He resigned in 1998 and took a leave of absence until he returned on staff in 1999 to resume the men's pastorship.
In 2000, Al changed ministries and became the pastor of the group that use to be called the Senior Saints of Hope Chapel, then the Forever Young Ministry of Hope Chapel and now the Timesetters Ministry.
His wife Colleen has been a faithful servant and worker for the church since 1992 and she is now the Administrative Assistant to the Office Manager in the church office. Mainly she is the receptionist that greets people over the phone or at the front office reception area. You will find Colleen and Al greeting people at the Saturday night service and the Sunday morning services. Today they both are busy doing their ministry and keeping up with their grandchildren.
