Profile:

I currently live with my parents, niece, grandma, and aunty by Castle High School. I have one older sister who lives with her husband and their two kids. I have one dog named Mochi.  I am a 2003 Castle High School Alumnus and I just graduated, from Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) in December of 2007 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

How did you come to HCKB?

I first started coming to HCKB in the 5th grade because of my Aunty. A couple of years later I left to try and “do my own thing,” but started to get into trouble. In the summer before 8th grade I realized there had to be more to life than just getting into trouble. I knew that there was something missing in my life, but did not know what it was.  In the beginning of my 8th grade year my health teacher led me back to HCKB where I noticed a joy in the people and recognized it as something I was missing in my own life but wanted so badly. I was longing for the joy, happiness, peace, and love in my life.  Ever since than I have been an active member of HCKB.

How I got involved in the Children’s Ministry:

I first got involved in December 1999 in the nursery.  I was in high school and it was a Friday night during service that one of my long time friends was working in the nursery.  It started with just wanting to hang out with her, but ended up falling in love with the kids that first night.  I always had a great passion for children, especially the little ones.  From than on I was involved in the children’s ministry, starting with being a nursery helper.

Hobbies:

One of my hobbies is cleaning.  I know it is a weird hobbies, but I love things to be organized and clean. I have a hard time getting anything done in a messy environment. I am also getting into video games, such as Guitar Hero and Brain Age.

What you do for fun:

I like to go to the movies, eat, and hang out with friend. Although I am not like most girls in the fact that I don't like shopping, actually shopping stresses me out. I usually get my aunty or cousins to shop for me. One thing that I also have fun doing is going glow putt in Windward Mall.

Favorite Things:

My favorite color is purple and my least favorite color pink, although I own a lot of pink shirts and one purple one. My favorite movies are anything that is action or has Adam Sandler in it.  My favorite TV shows are Gilmore Girls, NCIS, The Unit and CSI, and of course reruns of Friends and Everyone Loves Raymond.
