Hometown:

I was born and raised in Hawaii and have lived in Kaneohe since 1975.

Profile:

I recently started a new job, well actually I went back to my old job as Site Manager, Hawaii Parental Information and Resource Center Coordinator for Parents and Children Together (PACT), at the Kaneohe Community Family Center. I have four daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. My oldest daughter (Naomi) and her husband (Pat) live in Kula, Maui with their twins Kathryn and James. My second daughter (Kim) and her husband (Kevin) live in Redlands, California with their two years old daughter, Kaitlin. My third daughter (Wendy), lives with me and last but not least my youngest daughter (Kris) lives in Phoenix.

How did you come to HCKB?

I wanted to go to church in Kaneohe so I wouldn't have to drive to Kailua several tiems a week. I attended Divorce Care earlier and decided to check out Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay and have been coming ever since. That was about seven years ago.

How I got involved in the Children’s Ministry:

I've always ahd a heart for children and the fact is that most decisions for Jesus are made at a young age. I volunteered for nursery at first and have been involved since then.

Hobbies:

My hobbies are reading when I get a chance, but I also starting scrapbooking.

What you do for fun:

For fun I like to play and visit with my grandchildren and spend time with friends.

Favorite Things:

My favorite things are the color teal, the all time best movie The Sound of Music, the TV show, Extreme Home Makeover, and any music by Celine Dion.
