YOUTH PASTOR: Tom Landeza

STOKED SERVICE

Our high school church service, "STOKED", is held on Sunday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm. Come and hear God's Word taught clearly and creatively by our Youth Pastor, Tom Landeza. Pastor Tom uses a down-to-earth and inspiriting approach to communicate the scriptures to our youth. Experience the power of God through worship led by our youth worship teams.

MINICHURCH

This is where our students meet weekly in homes for snacks, worship, Bible discussion and life application, prayer, hanging out and making friends. This is the next step from being a Sunday night attender, to actually getting "plugged in" to our awesome group.

 

CAMPS

It's been said you can do more with students in a weekend of camping than in six months of Sunday School. We agree 100%.  These camps are designed to give students a life-changing experience that allows them to make friends and draws them closer to Jesus.  Here are the camps we have planned for 2009:

-Winter Stoked/Surge Camp is for junior high and high school students that will be held in January at Camp Mokuleia.

-Summer Surge Camp is for junior high students only that will be held in June at Camp Mokuleia.

-Summer Stoked Camp is for High Schol students only that will be held in July at Camp Mokuleia.

 

ACTIVITIES

We have various events and activities that occur throughout the year. These include: worship nights, beach days, The Lounge (coffee, art, music), video/board game night, community services, ice-skating, dance parties, After-Stoked-Fun Night (when there's no school on Monday!), bowling, and other creative fun-loving events!

 

MISSIONS

Our church has a calling to take the Gospel to Japan. In following that calling, we send youth missions teams from the Jr. High and Sr. High Ministries to Japan every year. We take a 10 day missions trip for the love of Christ. It is an awesome trip for those who travel there, and we have found that those who go develop a true heart and love for Japan and it's people who need the Lord.
