God gives us vision or insight into His plans for our lives. We often watch that vision turn to dust, at which point we intensely engage God. After awhile the vision is fulfilled (often not quite as we saw it). Along the way, God has drawn us into deeper relationship with him.
Meet Our Staff - Rodney To’atasi Tauvela Kaneohe
I am married to Melia (Abreu) of Kaua’i and we have two kids that are 18 months apart, my oldest is a girl and my youngest a boy. I also have an older son from a previous marriage living in Maine.
We bought a house here in Kaneohe and we were looking for a new church and we heard of Pastor Ralph Moore through the radio so we figured we’d come and see the man behind the voice and we’ve been here ever since.
Ministry passion: My passion is to see the lives of men transformed. We men have been influenced more by the culture than by the bible and a personal relationship with Christ and even then we have a misunderstanding on what it is to have that personal relationship with Christ. So, again, my passion is to see men become more biblical vice cultural Christians.
I can’t put my finger on the one thing that has influenced me the greatest in the past year but I can say that a lot of little things have greatly influenced my life, a lot of little trials and tribulations that have put my view of my walk with the Lord and my relationship with my wife into perspective.
