I’ve been married to my wonderful wife Ginger since July 22, 2006. Yep we're newlyweds! Ginger is from Houston, Texas. We met on eHarmony. I thank God everyday for this wonderful woman!

How did you come to HCKB?

Someone invited me to come to church back in 1997. I just loved the people and loved Ralph and the way he teaches. I started volunteering in the Gateway Ministry in 2002. Then I started volunteering by posting Ralph's notes on the website. In Oct 2004, I got hired here as the Operations Assistant and now I am the IT Manager. I love working here and I love the people.

How did you come to Hawaii?

When I was in the second grade, I saw a cartoon where Goofy quit his job, packed up all his stuff, and moved to a grass hut on the beaches of Hawaii. Since then I always wanted to live in Hawaii. I loved watching shows like Gilligan's Island and Hawaii 5O because I'd daydream about living there. When I went to college in Denver, my roommate was from Hawaii. Then I met a girl from Hawaii and we became really good friends. In 1996, after she had moved back to Hawaii, she sent me a ticket to come and visit her. I just decided to move, and I did. I've been here since Friday, Sept. 13th, 1996 (it's less expensive to fly on that day)! Hawaii is now my home!

Ministry Passion

To train people up to use the technology that we have today in such a way that the world is reached for Christ!

Biggest influence in your life over the past year and why:

Jesus, my Lord and Savior. It's been an awesome journey with Him. Through all my dark times, He stayed with me and made me the man I am today!

What High School did you go to?

Prichett High School, in Pritchett, Colorado! Yes, It's a real place, although I only had 4 (four, not a typo!) people in my senior class!!!

Fun Stuff

Travels
I haven't traveled as much as I would like. I've been to Disney World twice. I been to the canyon lands in southern Utah, and I've been to Hawaii! Just recently, I went on my honeymoon on a cruise from Galveston, Texas, to Progresso and Cozumel Mexico!

Hobbies
My grandfather and uncle taight me how to make Native American arts and crafts. I enjoy making things like dreamcatchers, arrowheads, spears, pipes, ceremonial items, and head dresses. I also like writing poetry. My main hobby though is just enfusing myself with new technology and programs on the computer.

What you do for fun
Movies, going to the beach, hanging with friends, and spending quality time with my lovely wife!

What makes you laugh
Slapstick comedy, good clean humor, children laughing, and a good April Fool's joke!

Favorites

Books
I like reading books on technology. I love learning more and more.

Music
I love Chris Tomlin. He has great worship music. I love listening to love songs. I can't go too long without hearing a good ol' country song!

Movies
Of course all three Lord of the Rings movies. Also adventure movies, and movies that are based on true stories. Every now and then I love a good chick flick!

TV
I'm a huge sci-fi nut. I love Stargate. I also like CSI, NCIS, Numbers, X-Files and so on!

Favorite City
Kaneohe, Hawaii. I just love the people, the mountains, the ocean, and the "ohana" I feel here everyday!
