The Women in the Word exists to fan the flame of passion for God’s Word and presence in our daily lives; thereby empowering women to be a holy influence and light of hope in their family and community.

Coming Soon:

Women in the Word presents a NEW Book Study on Mondays from 8:30 to 10:30 am in Kailua starting February 22nd. Perhaps one of the biggest issues all women face is their own insecurity. Beth Moore, one of today's most admired and trusted Christian writers, wants women to be free from the insecurity trap. So Long, Insecurity - You've Been a Bad Friend to Us, will strike a chord with women everywhere, as Beth speaks truth into the lives of readers, showing them how to deal with their innermost fears, rediscover their God-given dignity, and develop a whole new perspective-a stronger sense of self. Women of all ages and backgrounds will resonate with this message of security and discover truths that will free them emotionally and spiritually and lead them to a better life as they walk with God.

On Going:

Have you felt inadequate, threatened or overpowered by people or current situations?  Beth Moore helps us understand how applicable the study of Esther is to our problems today. Join us for a 10 week interactive study of Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman, on Wednesday mornings in Kailua, starting January 6th. Call Monique Taylor at 721.1999 for more information. Workbooks

He Speaks to Me - Preparing to Hear God's Voice by: Priscilla Shirer. This interactive study draws life lessons from the account of God speaking to the boy Samuel. In this beloved Bible story found in 1 Samuel 3, Priscilla relates six characteristics found in Samuel that are applicable to women today as they tune their hearts to hear God's voice. These characteristics are: A Simple Relationship, A Set Apart Holiness, A Still Attentiveness, A Single-Minded Worship, A Sold Out Hunger, and A Servant's Spirit. By listening to God's voice and obeying Him, women will be drawn into a closer relationship to God that brings a deeper desire to serve Him faithfully.

This 6-week study will be held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in Kaneohe, starting January 27th. Workbooks are available in the Hope Chapel Resource Center. Call Chasity Namba at 429.2427 for more information.
