 If the weekend services are considered the teaching or lecture time (classroom), then MiniChurch has to be considered the lab (practical application), a place where you can come and discuss the Word. If you didn't understand something, answers can be found. MiniChurch is a place where you can talk about how the Word applies to you personally.
Prayer is an important part of MiniChurch. The Word tells us that when two or more are gathered in His name, He is there in their midst. When a MiniChurch comes together to pray, lives change as you are supported by others who care for you.
Friendships are built in MiniChurch. There is no such thing as a "lone ranger Christian." We need each other -- the Word tells us that over and over. Some of your closest and longest lasting friendships will be found in MiniChurch.

 MiniChurch meets for about an hour and a half. The evening likely begins with a fellowship time with refreshments brought by members of the MiniChurch.
Worship songs are usually sung, followed by a discussion based on the weekend sermon and how it applies to you personally, as well as a prayer time where you can pray for each other. Trained lay pastors called "shepherds" lead your time together.
